Re: Simple fast charging

These look like Lead Acid chargers and will therefore (I think) need additional control circuitry.

Re: Berlingo Brake light modification

My modification only limits accelerator input to protect batt and motor from unnecessary heating.

Re: how to test saft nicd

Hi,

I have an automatic electronic load that can test upto 40A, 800W & 80V.

Although it is supposed to be a fully protected unit it had to be replaced, so I am a little reluctant to lend it out.

My wife works in Hamble so should be able to pick them up.

How many have you got ?

Regards,
Rob

Re: Please support a Nissan fast charger at Newbury

For operational reasons a fast charger is required at Newbury's Rowstock Nissan. IMO Charging Stations that are not available to the public 24/7 should be paid for by the dealer not by our taxes :( Thanks for your reply Kevin. My understanding is that the dealer pays for the fast chargers. Re: paid...

Re: Do replacing SAFT batts work ?

Hi Grump-b,

I am interested in how the other cells are stressed more. I can understand if the cells are parallel, but these are in series and getting low energy light earlier means that the other cells are not discharged so much.

Do replacing SAFT batts work ?

Having replaced batteries in 2 Berlingos and a 106, with what appears to be good ones, it seems that when some cells start going then the others follows shortly behind.

Has anyone actually succussfully replaced faulty cells and returned vehicle to full range/reliability ?
