Re: Axima mega city - that works fine?

The fuse was probably over tightened and turned / stretched the open side out then making the contact at the fuse body too small. They should have decent sized washers above and below for proper contact.
Otherwise it was just loose.

Re: Citroen Berlingo Electrique

If nothing that suggests a lack of 12v . Check it out or charge the 12v battery off the van. Once charged. Put it in the van. Put a test meter on the 12v battery . Note the voltage. Turn on the ign and re check the voltage.
Post the results on here.

Re: Settings for charge rates on EVs

Depends upon the charger fitted. If its a 3kw (ish) then it will need 16amp, if its a 7kw it will need a 32a power outlet. (you can get 3 phase 22kw) The plugs and the power outlets let the car know what they can deliver and so cut back power taken accordingly. So plug a 7kw charger in say a leaf in...

Re: Zivan NG9 HF 3 phase charger defect

Thats significant heat damage. Looks like the track has been vapourised. So what caused such a high current draw/ temperature and what other components remains could be found?
Electrofit Zapi do repairs, but they wouldnt even look at one as badly damaged as this.

Re: Aixam mega city service spanner reset

To keep his costs down, and he didnt need the range , he went for 8 rather than 12 batteries and the 8 cost him about £1200, but I would expect them to cost more now ( a few months ago) as stocks of the decent Yuasa batteries are not particularly high in the UK, so price tends to follow currency cha...

Re: Aixam mega city service spanner reset

With a low pack voltage, you are not going to get far or get the vehicle working properly, if its a really low voltage, then thats likely to be the cause of the spanner. You need a replacement set of cells. I recently supplied a set for a Mega Van, dont be tempted by cheap leisure batteries, they ar...

Re: Converted commercial vehicle MOT exempt?

If getting the Tax online, and the vehicle has had an mot previously, then the online system will require you to have a valid mot. Regardless of the legal position. You may be able to do something different through a post office. If its a light goods vehicle and conforms to the construction and use ...

Re: Is it a Supercar?... No it's a van....Or evil mistress

Thats because you have the wrong part. Its not a standard component, and I purchased a number of obsolete parts from the US a few years ago so that I could make the replacements. Yours for £30 exchange. Standard plug, and standard fitment. WIth high temp readings the controller will still shutdown. ...

Re: Is it a Supercar?... No it's a van....Or evil mistress

I can do you an exchange of the battery temp sensor, but you have to remove the top battery and extract the sensor from the side of the front passenger side cell. I dont think I have a spare ready for use, and I have had them when people have not sent the old unit to me. PM me and I will give you fu...
