A couple of years back I advertised my 106 electrique and a local chap came round with an electric CF van ,I'd never heard of them and was amazed to see almost the entire rear deck full of battteries! I had hoped there would be some good news as I really like the Buddy and would have loved to get it back on the road...but it looks as though I will have to sell It as is. :cry:

I believe they are sealed .
I just found out that the batteries are outside warranty (is anything ever in warranty?) Do you think they are salvageable? they have done almost no work, less than 200 miles.

Thanks for the advice. This is my first EV with PB batteries (apart from an IT) also I am not keen on shelling out for a new set so I'm going to have a go at reviving them. I have just contacted Puremobility (Elbil Norge) who make the Buddy to see if there is a warranty on the batteries .If the cell...

daed lead acid battery

Can any body tell me if it is possible to revive a pack of 3 year old laed acid batteries that have done almost no work.
The car has not been used and has been charged only now and then.
Any info would be most welcome.

Thanks Chris, I didnt run too much through after full so I reckon I'm spot on. Will Keep it to 500hrs in future though. As for taking it easy.. will do. As I've said before allthough this is number 6 I have never kept them that long so I didnt bother to read up on them,but this one I plan to keep so...

Have just started the maintanance charge with my new EVlite.
How level is "level ground" ?
My drive is only slightly off, is this a problem or should I pop a couple of bricks under the front wheels when topping up?
