NISSAN DEALERS REFUSING CHARGE UPS !!

I know the forum is not heavily subscribed, but I feel the need to get the message out that NISSAN have changed their policy of allowing you to charge at the dealerships. How do I know ? Well I turned up at MOTORLINE in my Leaf as I was looking at a 2nd hand car for my wife. Bit low on range on the ...

Re: Motor not engaging Energy meter not reading

Sounds like you may have the dreaded green gunge growing on the pins of the multiway connector(s) in the engine bay. From memory if you open the bonnet and look down the right side - as you are facing into engine bay - there will be large round black multiway connector, Unscrew it and open it up and...

Re: Its been a while - looking for advice

All sorted thanks Tim, stopped at Fleet services with the Ecotricity App and then Nissan Aldershot for a freebie, all eemed too easy. So new (pre-loved) Leaf back home now, I did miss the first one.

Its been a while - looking for advice

I am hoping to collect a Leaf from the south coast next week and since I last owned an EV I think the arrangements for charge points has changed. I have an old ecotricity charge card but it was free when I last used it - over a year ago. I need to work my way up from Bournemouth, Southampton, M3, M2...

Re: Getting Lexia / PP2000 to talk to Berlingo Electrique

We had the Actia version of the tool and we used to use the Partner option, then enter the middle 4 digits of the type number printed on a label in the drivers door shut. From memory it was 9422. Then you were asked to switch ignition on and the tool tried to communicate with the van. After that you...

Re: a red electrique.. electrolyte warning lamp question

NO - dont ignore the errors - except this one. It is a permanent error that is caused by there being a leakage detected between HV and the vehicle chassis. Only goes when you get rid of all those carbon particles from the brushes embedded in the motor windings and all those other little places that ...

Re: Possible to move regen to the brake pedal?

Excellent HARRY - i had forgotten. I'm glad the SHINY one is doing good service. There doesnt seem to be as much interest in the Leaf on the BVS site, and the other Leaf forums seem to be for regular users rather than engineers or people interested in how they work - until they get a problem, of cou...

Re: Possible to move regen to the brake pedal?

O.k we will differ Harry. But for anyone listening, I think it risks controller failure and will accelerate brush wear as there will be no plasma arc for the brushes to "ride" on they will be hard against the rotating comm, (because no field current). If you have ever taken a piece of sand...
