Hi Greg,

Great to see it's available, but do you know if anyone has got permission to do this from Chris, the director?

It's good to see the film out and about and being seen - but I'd question the copyright issues here...

The film is now only about £5, so it's well worth buying a copy too :)

Greg I've removed the link to the site I am afraid as theres nothing saying that copyright issues have been resolved on the site.

As the film is still available to buy I would suggest they havent.

If it has been cleared to be available on that site then we can replace the link

The link has been on the electric and hybrid cars website for quite some time with a message that it was temporarly unavailible and they were working on it. When I checked it last week it was working so I assume permission has been granted. Google video is hosting it so if there is a problem I am sure google will remove it, but so far it has been up at least a week.

I agree that it is well worth buying, but last time I looked in Blockbuster it wasn't on the shelf, :( and I hadn't got around to hunting it down on the internet.

Anyway, fantastic movie, well worth watching! :D

You can buy it from from amazon HERE

So as its still for sale then I suspect there may well be copyright issues still so to be on the safe side I think we better refrain from direct linking.

Of course if you do a google search then you'll find it

As you say Greg its a worth while watch 8)

Thanks for the link Greg. I'd heard a lot about the film but this is the first time I've seen it. I've never been one for conspiracy theories but the evidence is pretty damning. It's a real crime to see those cars hauled away and crushed, and even worse when you realise what could have been. Got to build my own!

It certainly is worth watching as is The Inconvenient Truth

I'd definately recommend people buy them both as Nikki says they are both available very reasonably priced now. For less than the price of a gallon of petrol ! I was lucky enough to win one of them at a BEVOB meeting last year and I bought the other while I was there too. They are permanently out on loan to people who keep saying they would like to see them, which is possibly copyright snaggable too but hey thats going a bit too far and I doubt would be successful in a court though we do have to be careful these days particularly with the global corporates and their precious film archives and music they are so hard done by

I also hadn't seen it till I watched it online. My take on the film was that California probably had to much stick and not enough carrot by requiring the auto makers to sell electric cars. Lots of issues raised though.

Who killed the electric car...

I used to have it on my website for viewing (it was linked to youtube), but it seems it has been removed there too. But as it is available for a very good price as mentioned above, I would recommend buying it.

Best,
Stephen
