SAM Cree is back as Re-Volt!

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

If only it was a 150km range - I could just about use that. It's just fast enough for the motorway and 150km would get me to work and back.

Above figures include track days and the odd competition.

Maybe in future it will be possible to extend the range of the SAM with additional battery pack.
For now the ECE range is 100 km.
For most users it is still more than enough.

Typically you can use the back seat for some small luggage...

On the subject of advertising, while I agree that this forum is not the place for it I would argue that should Plugged-in re-appear adverts will be very important.

I would suggest 3xe contact the editor for advertising space.

Totally agree Jon

Hopefully Mary can point them in the right direction.

I am currently trying to clarify the whole advertising thing at the moment on here with the committee and with luck be able to point people in the right direction instantly.

Its a fine line between telling folks about new products and then going on to sell them to make money which of course we wouldnt see any return on.
The site is paid for by the members in the subs, if companies then advertise and get sales from advertising for free on here then in effect the membership is ineffect putting the subs in the pockets of these companies, I wonder how the the members would feel if we allowed this to happen.

When the site was on a free server with adverts then it might have been a different case as the site would not have been costing the members anything, however as its on our own servers which are paid for via the members subs it it
