Regen slow to operate

Postby Richard Elliott » Thu Apr 04, 2013 9:13 pm

I've noticed a few times lately that, when running up to about 50 mph along an undulating road and then I come to a fairly steep downhill the regen braking fails to cut in when I take my foot of the pedal. The van then starts to speed up towards an eye watering 60 mph before the regen braking decides to take effect. Any ideas what might cause this?

SOunds like brushes, How long ago did you change them? As they wear the pressure decreases and they tend to be able to float. They also wobble in the holder if they are too short. Check them out as a matter of urgency. If you need new I keep them in stock. PM me.
