Anyone know if these vans are any good?

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

The finish and overall quality might be a bit iffy, most probably not up to the standards we're used to.

Getting one legal here would be a matter of doing whatever mods might be needed (rear fogs, sorting out any sharp protruding edges, making sure seat belts and seat belt anchorages all comply with EU regs etc) and getting it through the Single Vehicle Approval test. As it's apparently DOT compliant, it may not be too much work, but you would be taking a risk.

The other problem would be warranty and service support, because with no UK dealer you'd be pretty much on your own if anything went wrong with it.

If it has got US DOT compliance then it's probably as a NEV / LSV not as normal car/van (for which it would need a speed limiter). If doubt that is homologated as a standard car/van homologated for normal road use in the USA.

Nearest European equivalent would be as a quadricycle, but its too heavy for this group.

For less than that sort of money you could get a very nice Berlingo  and it would be better in all ways ......IMHO
