No mention of top speed, but range of 80 miles sounds like a Berlingo for the future.

Now Renault have this ready-made battery-electric drive train, how long before there is, say, an in-house group microcar EV, Say perhaps a Citroen "E1"?

Looks interesting at 70 euros a moonth for the batteries thats a lot less than the 130odd that users have ben paying for the Berlingo SAFT cells.
Interestingly the battery is only 22kwh which isnt hugely more than the Berlingos. But it looks like a worthy successor for the Blingo. They do already have a range of vehicles planned, but Renault and PSA are not the same company and the Kangoo was always a different animal from the Berlingo. Even the batteries were the larger capacity SAFt cells.
There may be some connection to the Nissan Leaf, as Nissan are largely owned by Renault.

A sensible vehicle.
