sometimes it all comes together... ZCW donated Charging Station, community electric van, and a wind turbine :)

Umm, I'd like one of those wind turbines in my back garden

I just wanted to say that I have booked myself a stay in one Hotel purely because they now have a charging point, and we'll be able to visit that area while we stay with them.

I always stay at B&Bs who are prepared to let me charge up and never at those who aren't.

I saw a charge point at Cragside today NT property run by http://www.chargeyourcar.org.uk/indexx3.php
That requires a £10 month fee :( now if i had one at work as well that would be worth it.

Sadly not worth it for the odd occasion I come across a charge point at present.

Here's a photo of our new second generation Charging Stations that we donate to Hotels, B&B's, Restaurants, Pubs, etc.

These are available in 13A "UK" and 32A "Commando" today, and 32A Type 2 ("mennekes") early next year.

We will release several "mennekes" versions including 3-Phase 63A.

For sites that do not qualify for donation we will sell the Charging Stations at low cost... for example our 32A 1-Phase "mennekes" version will retail at £250

Kevin

I've stay at quite a few decent self catering and B&B's every year. From now on I will recommend your site and get them to install a charging station. I only ever stay at ones that allow me to charge from a convenient plug the proprietors are always interested in the cars and this will be a useful resource for them. I'll e-mail the three places i have stayed at most recently to tell them about your project.

fantastic! don't forget if they meet our doantion criteria (basically that they offer the charging to their customers) then we will be happy to donate two Charging Stations to them (1 x 13A and 1 x 32A)
