Has anyone had dealings with Valence Lithium Batteries ?

Ive tried emailing them twice for info and not got a peep out of them.

A few of the guys on the EVDL have been talking about them. I think Valence, like most of the non Chinese firms only want to deal with OEMs. You could do a search of the EVDL archive for extra info.
