Interesting little product

My acer aspire one netbook uses around 30w i believe but that includes powering a screen which the fitpc doesnt have.

Some of these netbooks that you can now get are very low power units - I have one that uses around 11 watts.

I can buy a small embedded computer with built in GPS and GPRS for around £100 now (without screen) which would make a superb remote data monitor. It uses around 4 watts of power, rising to 15 when communicating.
My new book is out: The 2011 Electric Car Guide is available from Amazon and all good bookshops.
