Fitting electric hook up in an electric van

I am converting a 2015 Peugeot partner van to a camper. I am fitting mains hook up to the van, which I have carry out many time to a conventional van, and you alway Earth the consumer unit to the body, so that if a live wire were to touch the body it would trip. Before I fit it I just wondered if that could cause problems elsewhere.

On an Electrique the earth of the mains is connected to the chassis of the car. On current Electric vehicles, the earth pin of the charge plug is normally connected to the chssis earth. So no issues I would have thought.
