Electric cars in "literature" (mark: Trivia)

One - the only that I can think of - instance of an electric car featuring in a book is Tim Moore's "Do Not Pass Go" where in order to get 'Free Parking" as instructed by the Monopoly Board he borrows an electric car in London. I think it was a Th!nk. I enjoyed his book, but I accept that it's probably more interesting to people who know London.
