Hi, everyone,
my first post on the forum, joined the BVS the other day too.
Only one question today, i`m sure many will follow !
Does anyone know of kit cars similar to the Electric T-rex reverse trike, i`ve seen the R2, but was hooping for something in the UK .
The MEV trike is cool but ideally something with 2 seats would be better !
Cheers
Danny

Hi Dan

Not sure many folk here will know what the T-Rex is but it's pretty awsome and something I like very much myself too.

The MEV Etrike is currently a single seater but I'm pretty sure a 2 seat variant could be done I don't know where in the country you are located but if you are anywhere near Peterborough why not pop along to the show on the 9th and have a chat. If you've just joined you could get yourself a copy of the latest Plugged In magazine there too

Hi there,

T-rex is great, I have plans to build a reverse trike myself this autumn.
The Grinnal Scorpion is the UK version of the T-rex.
Moulds were on sale for this recently, alot of mony, but doesnt look bad.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0240834084

Thanks for the replies guys,
the electric t-rex is made by another canadian company , who turn the
T-rex into an ev, i think its called the" Silence", what I found hard to believe and is what attacts me, besides the look is the claimed range, performance, (0 - 60 in sub 4 seconds)and top speed of over 100mph.
They sell for around $44,000 us, so assuming they have to buy the t-rex, modify and fit with an ev drive train, and make a profit, the technoloy seems quite cheap for that level of performance.
I would love to know what components they use !
PHEV, would love to hear how you get on, are you going to use a kit or from scratch ?
Qdos, are you or anyone else from the forum going to any of the shows, or BVS events ?

Cheers
