Brighton Carnival is the first carnival to use only sustainable transport means on its parade. We have PPO trucks, biodiesel flatbeds, chip fat fuelled buses and pedal power soundsystems. We are looking for someone in Brighton with an electric car to join the parade on Sunday 13 July to carry water and bags for the 600 on parade. We would then offer you a place in our green area to promote BVS. It is short notice I know! We expect crowds of 10,000 at the finale site and 25,000 watching parade - great bit of publicity for you, plus a way to support a community carnival. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP! I've got an electric motorbike and live locally, but I doubt I can carry water for that many people on it!
Have you thought about contacting the local green recycling company to see if you can use their converted milkfloats?
