Re: Pushchair Pusher

Thanks Chris, you make me blush

Its crying out for some Lipos...been looking at some 24v 20Ah Pings, but they're over £300.
However, I can stick them in the Toylander afterwards, hmmm :?

Think I'm going to sell my Cinquecento to fund these toys, its just not getting used anymore.

Pushchair Pusher

Hi guys Thought I'd show you what I've been up to... I started making a Toylander a few weeks ago, spent about 6 or 7 hours on it making the body: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm153/geekygrilli/08092010051.jpg http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm153/geekygrilli/08092010052.jpg Building it off...

Re: One for the little'un

Now with Windscreen... http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm153/geekygrilli/Image0002.jpg Can't believe it, today we went out for a drive, parked outside a shop, and some old chap walked past, had a look at the car, then wobbled the windscreen, bending all the brass brackets! What posseses people to...

Re: Electric Cadet Go-Kart

Ran it last week, just plugged in a 12v battery direct to the motor (made it slow walking pace)- the girls loved it.

Blew up first controller - but now installed a new one.
Up and running at 36v, and its pretty quick, it wheel-spins on grass really easily.

Re: ADAM SMITH COLLEGE >>>EV

Hi Topgun My only advice would be to trawl through nearluy every entry on evalbum.com. It was the most useful single source of information for me. Note the ranges of the people who have completed their cars, not their estimates, there seems to be a big difference! OK, maybe that wasn't my only piece...

Electric Cadet Go-Kart

I had a bit of a tinker on my daughters' kart tonight... Took apart a 24v FWD mobility scooter, chopped up the front end, made a sprocket adaptor, modified some old engine mounts, and came up with this... http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm153/geekygrilli/Image0040.jpg http://i295.photobucket.com/...

Re: One for the little'un

Cheers Chris We did 2 hours of driving today (approx 4.5 miles), with no drop off in performance. The 3 year old was driving and the 1.5 yr old 'navigating'. It does get quite a lot of attention, and loads of people say; 'Ooo, you should make them and sell them'. When asked if they'd buy one, they a...
