I recently got a price from Schunk for some Brushes, and the material was quoted as E105. Does anyone know what E101 / E105 differences are?Has anyone had any with the E101 spec, and are they any improvement?

I realise the failure is not in itself over heating, but if the batteries do get hotter they will loose more electrolyte through evaporation. I f you see 30 degrees on the well cooled outside cell, as is the sensor one, then the middle pack middle row will im sure be much much hotter. My thinking is...

Berlingo cooling and battery failure

Looking at a info on a number of failed Berlingos, including my own, a definite trend seems to exist. The highest number of failure of batteries seems to be in the Centre Pack. Especially leakage generally caused by split cells. All the other Battery packs have only one side face of any battery in c...

MK 2 Front wing / connector

I will soon be needing to modify a MK2 wing to take the charging door, does anyone have a MK2 that they could take some photos of to help with the mod. I could also do with some MK2 under bonnet shots.

Any help appreciated
Regards

Im sure you are right, the charging does work on the plates as you say. I guess its a risk doing what I did, but the battery sat at 6.5v before I put it in so It would have taken a very limited charge in the first instance. Still if it goes pop (Bang I guess would be a better term) at least its in t...

The maintenance charge purpose is not just to put energy into the cells, but once charged they then convert the extra energy into heat. once heated the water will expand, and when re-watered with warm water at that point, there should not be a chance of the cells expanding with too much water. So I ...

My battery pack now has a reasonable set of cells. The last cell I replaced is still sitting 0.1v below the rest even after a balance charge, and watering. I actually watered the battery before I put it in. It sat on the AGA for a couple of days until good and warm to the touch. Probaly in the mid 2...

Exactly my thoughts, but the original key definitely has a chip in it. The round section in the "handle" can be prised out to both sides and the chip is suspended inside. I guess that may be part of std Berlingo lock set. Cheap keys though, It would have been easy to be convinced into buyi...
