My MKII has stuff my Mk1 doesn't Central locking (i think it is supposed to be remote but that doesn't do anything) Electric door mirror (yes only the left) which is also heated. actually i presume the RH one is also heated depsite it being a manual adjustment electric windows interior light courtes...

I am buying a salvage 2014 leaf Tekna. It has had a LHF corner whack. needs wing, bumper, wishbone. Any contacts for used parts out there? Cheers.

I wonder what would happen then if hypothetically someone bought a cat C (which has no V5 with it) then just dismantled it. Nobody would know where it went or who had the batteries in their converted EV !

Leased batteries and vehicle salvage.
ANyone know what happens when a Leased battery Zoe (or Leaf for that matter) gets written off and winds up in a salvage yard? Does the manufacturer come and physically remove the battery and take it away , or what? If the car gets sold on and repaired I can imagine the new owner just taking over the...

I know that electric goods vehicles don't require an MOT test but what about if i convert an ICE van or pickup, of course DVLA will change the fuel type and taxation class but will they change the requirement for it to have to be MOTd? I am guessing one wouldn't be able to tax it if they didn't adju...

Yes i noticed the vented ones on my 2003 . i had it up on my ramp cleaning the underside because it is quite low it scoops mud into all sorts of places when I drive down my farm track!
