Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Hi Guys So....a year and a half later I have sort of finished the conversion of this little mobility scooter. Originally it was going to be a Jeep or something similar, but my imagination and childhood dream got in the way and a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica rolled out of the garage this morning. ...

I think 300m will be OK, but with a top speed of 16mph, she'll be able to get away pretty swiftly! When finished it will be a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica, based on a mobility scooter... Whats good about the drive system on this is that when you come off the throttle it automatically applies an e...

Hi guys I'm currently making an EV for my daughter (3 years old). She is pretty good at driving and knows how to avoid things, but I would like to install a remote cut off switch (radio controlled) so I can cut the power if she loses control/concentration. Does anyone know of any off the shelf Singl...

Good work, well done. Few questions... 1. Is there any news on pricing yet? 2. Do you have to have a road licence to 'compete'/drive/any-age restrictions? 3. Are helmets and proban/nomex suits required 4. Can there be a class for lead acid fiat cinquecentos, in black? 5. Will there be charging facil...

My understanding of the DVLA inspection is just to confirm that you have made a modification that entitles you to drive tax free.

I asked the DVLA, hypothetically, if I had dropped a big fat V8 in my car and increased its tax band would they need to inspect it - they said 'no'.

Hi I can't remember the name of the chap who inspected my car, but he was really nice, and once I got past the office staff it was all OK, and went swimmingly. They've done my car, so hopefully they'll remember how to do it. You need to go there first, without the car and make a booking, and they'll...

S'pose a lot of the Modec noise is due to cooling fans on the motor?

Other than road noise, the only sounds mine makes are the vacuum pump hum and a gearbox whine. I think I'm going to do away with the servo and vac-pump, though.
