I think the truth lies somewhere between the two opinions expressed here. If we are telling people that once they give us their money, they will receive a quarterly magazine, then that really needs to happen, irrespective of whether the people who have made this promise to members are paid staff or ...

AGM and also BVS stand coordinator?

So, who is the person who is coordinating what happens at the BVS stand at the show? And also, who is the person who is coordinating the arrangements for the AGM? This may be one and the same person I realise. I ask about the Soneleigh show coordinator because I don't know who to officially go to in...

That would be a rather good publicity stunt!

Maybe we should have two incomplete projects, yours being one of them, and have two teams, in the style of scrap heap challenge, racing to complete the projects then drive the vehicles round the show ;-)

I intend to come along on the Sunday, having just joined the society myself, to attend the AGM and to see the stand etc. Happy to help out in some way too, perhaps by taking a turn on the stand or something? Is John Lilly coordinating everything? I note that it is his name on the main website. Or is...

Hi Arthur,

Glad to hear you are going to try to join us. It'll be good to get to know someone else so local to us who has an interest in battery vehicles.

Mary.

March 29th North West Meet

Tim and I are thinking of holding a northern meet at our local pub, near Manchester Airport, on Saturday 29th March. We are close to junction 6 of the M56, in the Altrincham area of South Manchester. The pub (The Romper) is within spitting distance of our house, and we have room on our driveway for ...

Thanks!

Thanks for organising the meet today Tesla.

It was great to meet everyone, and to talk to people about my project with Timpootle.

Look forward to seeing you all, and hopefully some more new faces too, in the spring.
