Specific Gravity Meter/Battery Hydrometer
Hello people Does anyone know where I can get a decent (yet cheap!) Specific Gravity Meter from? Can you get digital ones? I don't really want to replace all my batteries if i don't have to, so thought I would set about testing the cells to see why my range has dropped... I want to buy the meter so ...

They're only Leisure type Wet Lead Acid. I don't trust myself with anything more expensive! Hopefully, if I don't abuse them they'll last a long time.
I got the prices from a group of companies known as A1 Motor Stores, see here:- http://www.a1motorstores.co.uk/

Lead Acid Prices
I've just been phoning around for quotes on some Lead Acid bateries for my car. All the abuse I gave my batteies has lead to a range of just 14 miles :( but to be fair, they've lasted a lot longer than I expected, and I might just keep using them till the are completely shot. 3 years ago I paid £...

Cheers Simon My current lead acid leisure batteries are on their way out. They've only done 2000 miles, but to be fair I have abused them a lot; thy've been shorted, run flat more than once, stored almost flat for a year, sat on a floor at -10C, etc... I can replace the lot with exactly the same bat...

On similar lines...what cells are the F1 KERS systems using? The spec, I think, is 80bhp for 6.7 sec per lap Are they using super capacitors? I read that BMW had a concern with an engineer getting a shock, and the drivers are a bit wary of the systems. Also, and I've been wondering about this for ye...

Hi I have used/booked Curborough Sprint circuit in the past. I think its £350 for the day. Weekend bookings might be a bit difficult, weekdays in September should be OK. The track is nice, with a large pit area. It can be used in a few different layouts. There is a hill at the start, but you can ...
