As it happens I have been think about this a bit as well. What I would like to do I think is to dangle a 13A socket off that connector. To connect it to the mains for charging via this would need a short plug to plug connector with both live, but this double connector could be inside a nice bright r...

Thanks - I'm not completely imagining things then :D I hadn't realised the low speed regen was proportional to brake pressure though. I guess it means that in slow speed traffic we should aim to brake as lightly as possible so as to minimise actual braking and maximise the regen. I was rather hoping...

Brakes activate regen?

Is the regen function linked to braking at all I wonder? This morning I was looking closely at the Eco meter and noticed something interesting. Lifting foot off the accelerator causes regen to switch in and the vehicle to slow down as expected, however sometimes the regen isn't sufficient and you ha...

Ouch, sorry to hear of your troubles  Fortunately you seem to have the spares/replacement bits in hand so its not a disater. It really seems that we need to get organised here and get one or two non runners between us that can be cannibalised for spares - its not just the batteries we need it s...

Nice idea Chris.

My socket is fine but you have got me thinking, I have a sliding door in our conservatory that has become essentially unusable due to friction and wear in its plastic bits - some silicon spray might be usefull there as well.

One more to add to the job list :)

Hi Tim,

Not sure when it came back up as I've only just retried. But from memory it was available until quite a bit after 2, perhaps 3:15 or so?

Pretty quiet

Hit Tim, I concur with Chris in that I don't think you are going to get anything useful for a computer game. I also run a Berlingo and the motor noise just insn't discernable. All you can hear driving is general wind, tyre and bump noise although there is some discernable noise from the secondary el...

Change to Forum Index Page?

I notice today that the Index page has lost its 'View messages since last visit' option which has been replaced with a 'View unanswered messages' link. Is this intentional or one of those mysterious gremlin thingies? Alternatively is there anywhere else we can access a 'new messages' function as tha...
