I hope it is just a kinked damaged hose, but be prepared for the worst i.e split battery top. Have you got any coolent issues ?? ChrisB I'll have a quick look at it tonight when I get home and see if I can trace a kinked or trapped hose. I have no warning lights or error codes and the radiator is i...

Battery watering blockage - should I panic?
This weekend, armed with lots of distilled water and Evan's magic device, I set about doing my first maintenance charge and watering on the Blingo. I must say I was impressed at how easy it was, for the first three battery packs at least. On the fourth (lower front pack) the water flowed through *mu...

........... It will correct itself at the next charge. I've found it takes several cycles to sort itself out when I've got mine in a pickle :? As you say voltage is the key thing. ChrisB Do we know enough about the batteries to be able to tell much from the voltage? i.e. has anyone published a volt...

The battery is floated at over 14V whilst charging (too high if anything). I previously thought it was much lower than this but was mistaken, that may have been where you got the undercharged comment from. I may have got it from the thread http://www.batteryvehiclesociety.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.ph...

Thanks Grumpy. I'm delighted with the performance rather than dissapointed it doesn't match what you might expect from the advert. I hoped to get a good condition one, and it is delivering pretty much spot on what I expected from reports here other good folks. After all, the performance claims made ...

Thanks for the info Chris, the discharge rate is a bit higher than I guessed it would be but still should give us two to three months of parking time before we get seriously low - if its linear. Picking up on your comment about the condition of the auxiliary battery, and previous threads which menti...

Not a problem
Hi, You will get some more informed data from folks that have had Blingo's for longer and gone through a holiday period, but I think that with good condition batteries you might no issue at all. Being a new owner the longest I have so far left mine (without either using or recharging it) is 24 hours...

Delighted with the range.
Thanks guys. I have just checked the battery overcharge abd that is at 550 hours so I guess its time to think about a service - just waiting for the watering kit & brushes to arrive. We have had a couple of longer runs this weekend, first was 31 miles, up and down hills at night, maintaining 45m...

I thought that, I wonder what happened ?? ChrisB OK, time for an update I guess. I have a nice shiny Blingo with all the vinyl 'signage' that was on it removed, purchase cost was (to answer the previous question) £6750. That's not at all cheap, but its a nice one and the ebay bidding reached tha...
