Yes matt, they were very good fair play, good comms, tech advice etc... give me confidence that if a problem were to arise with the charger it would get sorted and at a reanable cost too.

All good stuff. :D

Those system came delivered from china with the recommendation that the balancing function was disabled before use or beware of cell issues. Additionally, the power drain by the bms al...

Re: Early Versions BMS taking down cells when vehicle not ch

Hi Grumpy-b I have read quite a few threads now of the evie and cell failures. Another case of the bms system actually causing cell failures rather than protecting what they are designed for. I was going to purchase a bms for my plug in hybrid kit, but after alot of reading ended up with a battery m...

Try the NFU, I used them for a few years a number of ...

Any advice on ev insurance

Hi, I was seriously considering the purchase of an ev this year, I have a prius with a plug in hybrid kit fitted at the moment. Whilst doing some research over the last week, noticed the insurance groupings fro ev,s. I noticed the leaf was a group 21, and a I miev a group 22. I'm really shocked that...

Re: Zivan ng3 charger help please

Update, Received the new EEPROM from electrofit zapi, they'd are very helpful fair play. It's working ok, have to do a small mod on a potentiometer top enable the voltage to be adjusted lower more to my set point of 250v. A big thanks to Dave at zapi if he is on the forum, what a helpful guy. Anthony.

Re: Zivan ng3 charger help please

Hi grumps, Spoke to them yesterday, they are to be honest very helpful. They are sending me a new EEPROM that has a better charge profile for lithium, and have given some advice on how to control the charge voltage and current setting. I should receive the EEPROM tomorrow. Thanks for the reply. Anth...
