Just to clarify, Good Energy aren't just a broker. Whilst lots of their green electricity does indeed come from microgeneration shemes (and then they sell that electricity on to people like me), they do have their own wind-farm, and I believe they plan to invest in other mainstream generation projec...

Re: Good Energy

I use Good Energy which claim 100% renewable generation. Not the cheapest but as you say vote with your wallet. http://www.goodenergy.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/090317_1st-april-2009_domestic-price-list-and-ts-cs.pdf We use them too. I *think* they are the only supplier who can make that clai...

I confess that in my old age ( 36  ) I have become a little skeptical of claims about new EVs until the vehicle is sitting in front of me. But, I do hope the claims are true, and I hope they get it over to the UK! :D They seem to be planning to trial in California first. Anyone heard when they...

Hi David,

I don't know of such a grant - and have similarly googled for it several times in the past.

If anyone hears of one do let me know, because I would want to make all of our members aware of it, if such a thing exists to help private individuals.

If you select UK and go through the order process it basically lets you reserve one at a cost of zero dollars - presumably they then contact you to sort out the details. Can't see any UK dealers - found a page inviting UK businesses to sign up as a dealer though, if anyone is interested. I guess per...

I have emailed Darren (of EcoVanandMan) to ask if we can add their company to the growing list of companies who are agreeing to offer discounts to BVS members. We'll see what they say. I invited them to ElectraCon last year, but back then they were just starting out and were based entirely down sout...
