Thank you for sharing your experience with us, duxuk. I am truly sorry that this was your first contact with the society. That was me sat next to John, desperately trying to coax a positive opinion from him.

Yes, the move is in progress. My weekend away at Newark got in the way.

Thanks for posting your error, Floydster. I haven't encountered that one on this server.

Once everything is ready on the new host, the site will be offline for a couple of hours while I rebuild the database.

Now you mention it, yes I think it does behave like you say. I have no data to prove it either way, though.

That was my plan , Jeremy! Using another of GrumpyB's cast-offs. The motor is integral to the drivetrain - the halfshafts pass straight through it - so I think ditching that would be pointless. You might as well start with any other vehicle if you are going to refit a conventional final drive. Which...

Thanks for the poke, Chris and Peter. Prompted by your concern I have checked the voltage on all 204 cells, and entered them on a spreadsheet to monitor them into the future. I numbered the cells 1A,1B,1C,1D,2A,2B....51C,51D for tracking purposes. I also recorded the HiPower Date code and Serial num...

Okay, I shall stop worrying then ;-)

Are you saying the new, genuine bushes are improved, or that they no longer fit our Berlingos?

Hello Evan What have you got now, and what exactly are you after? A 16A, 240V single phase socket (blue caravan/commando style) is a good idea to cope with the standard 13A draw, as a 13A plug/socket can't really cope running at full whack for hours on end. I have a drawer full of toasted plugs and ...

Strut brace for Berlingo

A common fault with the Berlingo electrique is front tyre wear, presumably from carrying the weight of all those batteries. Has anyone here tried fitting a strut brace (upper, lower or both) and was it any use? I have been looking into the possibility of using Peugeot 306 components, but I'm not sur...
