The IGBT was obviously blown, hole in the side and a trace of black soot on the alluminium housing. No signs of other damage. According to John Kay's post about £45 for two new ones. I had a brush seize in the carrier, worn down to far, the commutator was a bit of a mess. There is only very slight brush dust now, the brushes are hardly worn at all and the comm is nice and smooth. My Berlingo is a bit poorly... Contactors are pulling in on start as normal. No fault lights at this point.
