It smells like gear oil, so I think it probably is!

I've just removed the inspection cover to check my brushes & have found the top side of the over covered in thick oil??? Have not had a chance to check transmission oil yet. This van has hardly been used at all in the last few years & has only done 20,000 miles. Have just finished rebuilding...

I've had the same problem with my Berlingo in the last week or two, with the low voltage lamp coming on at about 53% & also it's only charging to about 95%. Maybe it's just the very cold weather?

My Berlingo seemed to be running on kangaroo juice earlier on, so I'm guessing I need some new brushes. Does anyone have any for sale or know where I can obtain them from?

I'm still having problems with my 12v warning light. If you drive the van soon after a full charge the 12v lamp comes on sometimes, particularly when slowing down. I wondered if this pointed to a loose connection, but can't find anything obvious, or if the regen braking for some reason puts a large ...

As I get perhaps 35 miles on a charge, that works out at 3 full charges on route to you. Yes it is 125 miles! Sounds like a lot of hassle to me! Maybe you can persuade me otherwise?
